Whose Blog is This Anyway?
Needless to say, it has been a long time to get to this new website, and to finally bring about the new pages, my books, my radio work, and all that happy horseshit in one page you can kind of/sort of navigate. It has been many months of meetings with my webmistress Ella, she figures out what I’m supposed to be about at this stage of my life, and how do we get you to read more about it, and maybe even click on one of these links.
Well, then we finally got here, and as usual, the ubiquitous editor, office manager, deejay sidekick and general watcher, Kao became involved. Of course she did.
Kao has been a member of the family since 2016, when she was rescued from sub-zero freezing conditions and starvation. I kept her, did very little to bring her back to health, because Kao decided she was staying and all my other cats could go pound sand.
They did eventually get used to her, and Baldrick, the last of the Old But Not Dead Yet Gang finally passed on. Kao got what she wanted: to be the ONLY cat, the Queen of the Castle, and so forth.
Kao is the one who keeps her eyes and ears involved in all things, and is quick to remind me of the important matters:
She can see the bottom of the food dish.
The water dish is less than half full.
The litterbox needs cleaning.
When it is time to call the pizza guys.
At times you will likely note a different tone on these pages. You can be sure it’s Kao. My cat is very particular, somewhat precise and more than willing to let her opinions be known. And she will have a lot to say.
You have been warned.
